Direction detector 5751

The direction converter detects the direction of rotation of a machine, pump or engine, allowing direction-dependent speed indication and safety locking.

The module requires two encoder signals, which are phase shifted by 90°.

Whichever signal frequency comes first determines the position of the bistable relay change-over contact.
