Task:
The speed of a pump driven by an electric motor has to be checked on a weekly basis in accordance with an internal quality guideline.
A calibrated, non-contact measuring system which is able to measure the speed precisely is required for this purpose.
Solution:
With the REDPOINT, the speed is measured very precisely by reflecting a bright beam on an affixed reflective strip.
The hand-held digital tachometer is supplied with a DKD calibration certificate. Annual recalibration is also possible.
Task:
During the production of electric motors, the speed is to recorded at a certain current consumption during the final test.
This requires a speed-measuring device, which quickly and precisely measures and saves the speed.
Here too, a calibrated measuring system is desired.
Solution:
With the ROTARO, a mechanical adapter and probe tip are used to measure the rotational speed of the motor and store it in the memory.
The value is retrieved later and recorded in the test log together with the current consumption.
The REDPOINT hand-held digital tachometer can also be used to measure the speed visually without contact, using a reflective strip.
